Before Kevin and I started dating I lived in a tiny little apartment in San Francisco’s Marina disctrict, which happened to be situated right next to an Urban Outfitters. It was dangerous as I had to walk past their windowfront every day to get to my doorstep. What I loved about Urban Outfitters is that I was always able to find a piece for every occasion. Even though we don’t currently live as close, I still pop in to see what new pieces they have on display. I found this racerback ribbed dress by Sparkle and Fade and knew I had to have it. It comes in a few different colors but I love a rich olive color any day. It’s not only super comfortable but it can easily be dressed up or down. I see this being worn in the upcoming summer months with sandals or wedges, or even dressing it down with white converse and a jean jacket. I’m sure I’ll be getting lots of use out of it. Happy shopping xx

CH Wedding: 5 Steps to Prep for Your Engagement Shoot
You have an engagement shoot booked and you’re feeling ahead of the game, but what next? As Kevin and I were gleefully preparing for our engagement shoot we realized we started having more questions than answers. Where do we shoot? How many locations should we shoot at? Should we attempt an outfit change? Where will we change? OMG will people see us? The last two were most likely me- and if you’re a classic over-thinker like myself, you understand. Luckily, our wedding photographer, Jasmine Lee, (who is also shooting our wedding) is well versed in prepping couples and guided us through the entire process leading up to our shoot.
Black leather jacket
My favorite thing about Sunday night is getting to regroup and relax from the weekend and mentally prep for Monday. This was one of those weekends where we had friends visit both Saturday AND Sunday so I was looking forward to unwinding from hostess mode.
Color me Orange
Hi friends! After a month of rain, we have been totally blessed with a HOT streak in the city. I’m all over any chance to wear shorts since it’s a pretty rare occasion here in San Francisco. It’s been such a busy time of year with work and wedding planning and have found myself indoors behind a computer more than usual. I was so excited to get out and soak up this February sun! I haven’t taken these shorts out since our Italy trip and felt they were due for a good wear around the city (secretly hoping they might also bring back my Italy tan).
Winter Wonderland
It’s been a cozy weekend staying in and watching the rain cover San Francisco! It brought me back to our trip to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and I’m already itching to go back and get another day of skiing in. There’s so much to explore around the lake and I always look forward to our trips there- it’s such a treat to unplug for a few days and take in the fresh air. We spent our first day walking around the snow covered resort at the Cedar House Sport checking out all that the property has to offer. The resort is so beautiful and we loved how they focused on utilizing natural resources. You can check out my earlier review of our visit here!
