Now that we are getting close summer we are finally able to spend some time in the sunshine. Yesterday was one of those rare, hot days in San Francisco where it seemed like everyone was outside. My girlfriend Meg suggested that we check out the park in the Presidio and I was so glad she suggested it! It really is a picture perfect setting without the crowds and lots of beautiful city views- Kevin and I definitely will be spending more time there.
Happy Friday guys! I have been loving the gingham trend this season but haven't had a chance to wear any since it's still been chilly out in SF (story of my life out here)! It finally warmed up enough to spend some time outdoors so Kevin and I decided to have a little wine and cheese picnic at the park. I ventured out in this OTS cotton gingham dress and could have stayed in it all day. The style of this dress is loose fitting but still feminine- which I love.

Happy Tuesday! I'm up later than usual tonight prepping for a trip to Southern California tomorrow. I have a meeting in San Diego then I'll be making my way through Long Beach to visit family, ending in LA for the weekend. It's been awhile since I've made the trip down to Southern California so I'm beyond excited to catch up with old friends and see what's new!
As soon as I saw this lemon midi skirt in the store window at Morning Lavender I knew I had to have it. I love a good standout print and yellow of course, is the perfect summery hue. The detail on this skirt and the way it fits is just perfect (for sizing I'm wearing a small). As soon as I put it on I was already envisioning wearing this on a few upcoming trips we have planned for this summer.
