It’s been over a week now since we had our girls’ (#BFFWeekend) in Los Angeles and I am still reminiscing about how much fun we had. Truth be told, I have not spent much time in LA until this year and have really been enjoying my time there. A good girlfriend of mine from college just moved there from NYC so I have been overdosing this summer on LA girl time and have come to the conclusion that it’s an amazing city to host a weekend with friends. Good food, sunshine, and the possibility of a Ryan Gosling sighting- it’s perfect.

Weekend in Calistoga
Kevin and I spent this past weekend in Calistoga and let me tell you, it is in incredible place. Surrounded by nature, Calistoga is filled with countless wineries, shops, resorts and sunshine and we found it to be the perfect little weekend getaway from the city. I really enjoyed the more low-key aspect of Calistoga in comparison to Napa and Sonoma as we found places were never too packed and it was easy to navigate around town.
We were in town for a wedding and extended our stay so we spent most of our time at the

La Dolce Vita: Positano Beach Day
I have been meaning to post the last leg of our Italy trip for some time and with how busy life has been lately, I have really been missing la dolce vita (the good life)! After almost 15 days in Italy, ending our trip sunbathing on the Amalfi Coast was a brilliant idea and I applaud Kevin and I for planning it so. With all of the moving around from city to city we decided to spend an entire day in Positano beaching it up (life was really rough back then)…
Winter Wonderland
It’s been a cozy weekend staying in and watching the rain cover San Francisco! It brought me back to our trip to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and I’m already itching to go back and get another day of skiing in. There’s so much to explore around the lake and I always look forward to our trips there- it’s such a treat to unplug for a few days and take in the fresh air. We spent our first day walking around the snow covered resort at the Cedar House Sport checking out all that the property has to offer. The resort is so beautiful and we loved how they focused on utilizing natural resources. You can check out my earlier review of our visit here!
