Fall Wedding Dress 2 Ways

We are driving to Reno today to celebrate one of my dear girlfriends who is getting married in November.  I’m in her bridal party and can’t wait to celebrate her- this will be the first wedding we have attended in VEGAS (so fun)!  I love traveling to fun destinations for weddings.  Emphasis on fun destinations 😉  I am finding that over the last few years the majority of our friends have either gotten married or had babies (you know how it goes)- so I like to think we are professional weekend travelers by now.  I’ll have to do a post on how we pack for wedding weekends since we have become really efficient…although if I ‘m being honest, I packed at 5:30 this morning before we left, but that’s efficient right?

I am always on the hunt for appropriate dresses that can transition from shower’s to weddings.  I will often throw on a jean jacket or vest to give a dress a more casual feel for showers, and heels and some statement jewelry to dress it up for a wedding.

This dress from Leith is such a sweet little find.  It has a corset style top and flowy feel that makes it really fun to wear.  I added on this tuxedo-style blush vest which is the most killer transitional piece.  It changes the total look of the dress and makes it way more casual when added on.  I’ve already worn the vest out with jeans and it looks really cute with a white tee underneath as well.

Everything is at a really affordable price point and linked below, I’m wearing a size small in both for a reference.  Have a great weekend guys!
