Girls’ Weekend Guide: LA

It’s been over a week now since we had our girls’ (#BFFWeekend) in Los Angeles and I am still reminiscing about how much fun we had.  Truth be told, I have not spent much time in LA until this year and have really been enjoying my time there.  A good girlfriend of mine from college just moved there from NYC so I have been overdosing this summer on LA girl time and have come to the conclusion that it’s an amazing city to host a weekend with friends.  Good food, sunshine, and the possibility of a Ryan Gosling sighting- it’s perfect.

After we got home from our trip, I received quite a few of questions in regards to where we went, stayed, ate etc.  Since we had such a fun weekend (minus the hangovers), I wanted to share a few details about our weekend there in case you find yourself planning a girls’ trip to LA as well.

Where to Stay

After weeks of evaluating where to stay, we settled on an adorable little cottage (AirBnB) in West Hollywood.  Getting lots of advice and opinions from friends who know the area, West Hollywood (WeHo) turned out to be the perfect location for a girls’ weekend since it’s centrally located to most of the restaurants, shops and bars we were interested in and it’s also a really cute area to walk around.

Where to Eat

There is an INSANE number of amazing restaurants to choose from in LA, so here are the ones we loved most during our stay:

Gracias Madre

Drinks with the Girls

We were lucky to have recommendations from our friend who lives in LA and loved each place for different reasons.  These three were at the top of our list and are perfect for a day or night out with your girls!
