Fall Wedding Dress 2 Ways

We are driving to Reno today to celebrate one of my dear girlfriends who is getting married in November.  I’m in her bridal party and can’t wait to celebrate her- this will be the first wedding we have attended in VEGAS (so fun)!  I love traveling to fun destinations for weddings.  Emphasis on fun destinations 😉  I am finding that over the last few years the majority of our friends have either gotten married or had babies (you know how it goes)- so I like to think we are

From Summer to Fall

Wow, it's almost October, 80 degrees here in San Francisco and I'm wondering where this month has gone?!  Hi everyone!  It's been a bit since I've posted here on Chic Happens.  I strive for consistency, but sometimes life just gets in the way.  This past month in particular has been one of those rare ones where everything just seems to happen at once.  We are settling into our first full year of married life (really can't believe it's already almost been a year) and have been

Happy Friday guys from 40,000 feet up! I am en route to Philadelphia for the weekend to visit some college girlfriends and to visit our old stomping grounds. The Little Red Dress

Found: the cutest little red dress for summer.  I scooped this one up from Madewell and luckily they still have it in stock.  It's is the perfect amount of flirty (love a wrap-around cut) and is so versatile.  Throw it on for date night, day time drinks or out shopping with the girls.  It can easily see it being dressed up or down depending on what shoe you wear with it- with this look I went with my favorite wedges from Soludos paired it with a light jean jacket (both linked below).

This past weekend Kevin and I had the opportunity to catch up and shoot with our wedding photographer and friend, Jasmine Lee.  We kind of fell in love with our wedding team (I hate to call them 'vendors') and have become friends with almost all of them.  Jasmine shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding and let me tell you she is nothing short of amazing and has become a dear friend to the both of us (you can click here to check out our engagement shoot and here to see our wedding on Style Me Pretty)
