The Perfect Blush Blazer

Blush is becoming my new neutral this spring.  Isn’t it funny how you gravitate towards certain colors during different seasons?  Although, I have a feeling this color will transition nicely year round.  Today I’m all about my favorite day-to-night look: a blazer and jeans.  A blazer is the perfect piece that can take you from a day at work, happy hour, to a night out. read more

Ruffles and Denim

Happy Tuesday!  Is it just me or did this weekend fly by?  It was sunny and in the 70’s the entire weekend here in San Francisco so Kevin and I spent our time mostly outdoors with the rest of the city.  We hit the driving range at Presidio Golf Course, went to brunch with friends at our new favorite spot- Flores (seriously so good if you are in the area), and took Marley out for some beach time. read more

Floral Embroidered Dress

There is nothing like a floral dress to get you in the mood for Spring.  When I saw this dress I immediately fell in love with it.  The details are what really caught my eye- I love the lower cut of the dress since it really shows off the floral embroidery.  I typically won’t reach for nude colored items as I get worried about looking too “naked” but I felt amazing in this dress.  I immediately went into Kenya Moore TWIRL mode as soon as I threw it on (you Bravo fans will know exactly what I mean)! read more

Mint Duster for Spring

It’s finally spring!  I purchased this satiny/chiffon duster during the Missguided winter sale and have been patiently wearing for it to warm up to wear.  Duster’s are the easiest way to pull together any outfit and add a little touch of glam.  I paired this one with white jeans, nude heels, and my favorite slouchy white tee from J.Crew.  You don’t have to break your budget to get a staple piece that looks “expensive”- I call it “high low”.  Mixing higher end items with less without anyone knowing the better.  As long as it fits and you feel good in it, that’s all that matters. read more
