After a week of rain here in California I am so happy to see some sunshine! As a plus I am finally over this cold that seems to be going around and anxious to explore the new neighborhood we live in. I haven't really felt like the "new girl" yet since we have

Transitional Pieces
Now that we are back from Mexico (...Cabo blog post coming your way soon!) we are finally settled back into our normal routines. Isn't it funny how you go on vacation to "get away" from it all and end up missing home when you aren't there. It was really amazing to relax and re-charge for a week though- sun and beach time always seem to work some much needed
Ruffles and Denim
Happy Tuesday! Is it just me or did this weekend fly by? It was sunny and in the 70’s the entire weekend here in San Francisco so Kevin and I spent our time mostly outdoors with the rest of the city. We hit the driving range at Presidio Golf Course, went to brunch with friends at our new favorite spot- Flores (seriously so good if you are in the area), and took Marley out for some beach time.
Warm Winter Weekend
This past weekend was one of those “get me outside” weekends that stayed sunny and warm (so not the norm in February). It felt amazing to ditch the coats, throw on a comfy pullover and my go-to black booties. I picked up this sweater during a winter sale at Banana Republic and have been obsessed with it ever since. It’s such a great transitional piece as it can easily be worn without a jacket on days like this and still keep you warm. Fingers crossed the weather stays like this as there truly isn’t anything better than a sunny weekend in San Francisco. Nothing makes me happier than to see people outside enjoying this beautiful city!
Rainy Day in West Portal
We spent a rainy Saturday this weekend checking out the city’s West Portal neighborhood. It’s a low-key neighborhood with blocks and blocks of adorable shops and restaurants. West Portal Avenue, where we spent most of our time, has a small town vibe which is so refreshing in a city that’s always hustling and bustling. It’s filled with trendy shops, like Lemonade (if you’re into coconut, the coconut lime lemonade is a must), and lots of old timey theaters and bookstores. We had so much fun walking around and checking everything out- be sure to scroll down and check out some of our top picks if you pay a visit!
