Blush Spring Sweater

Living in San Francisco, no matter how warm it gets during the day, my sweaters are always in rotation at night (all year!).  I found this spring/summery blush toned sweater from Express (linked below) and fell in love.  It's so comfortable and was perfect for an early happy hour with the hubs (we ended up at Union Larder which is my new favorite wine + cheese bar in the city).  These white jeans from NYDJ have gotten quite a bit of use this season (as seen in previous posts

Embroidered Mini

Happy Tuesday!  I'm up later than usual tonight prepping for a trip to Southern California tomorrow.  I have a meeting in San Diego then I'll be making my way through Long Beach to visit family, ending in LA for the weekend.  It's been awhile since I've made the trip down to Southern California so I'm beyond excited to catch up with old friends and see what's new!

Lemon Midi Skirt

As soon as I saw this lemon midi skirt in the store window at Morning Lavender I knew I had to have it. I love a good standout print and yellow of course, is the perfect summery hue.  The detail on this skirt and the way it fits is just perfect (for sizing I'm wearing a small).  As soon as I put it on I was already envisioning wearing this on a few upcoming trips we have planned for this summer.

Spring Evening in SF

Happy Friday!  It’s been so nice being able to spend some time outside and soak up this AMAZING weather.  Kevin and I were heading out to meet friends and walked through this beautiful neighborhood in Russian Hill.  I was so excited to finally wear this flowy printed maxi dress from Tobi.  I love the cut and length of this dress mixed with the chic little tie-front top.  A maxi dress is one the best pieces you can have in your closet for easy and effortless style.  You can take a maxi from day to night by adding on a leather jacket or a blazer and mix it up with a pair of heels or sandals. read more

Peplum with Bows

There is something about a peplum top that is just so feminine.  A peplum cut is ridiculously flattering (seriously, they shape you like a corset without the uncomfortable factor) and are so easy to wear with pants or a skirt.  I fell in love with this blue and white striped peplum top as soon as I saw the back- slightly open and laced with big white bows.  It's adorable and such a great top for spring/summer (clearly I have been obsessed with blue and white striped tops this season as seen here and here) and paired perfectly with some white distressed jeans and a blush bag.
