This past weekend Kevin and I had the opportunity to catch up and shoot with our wedding photographer and friend, Jasmine Lee.  We kind of fell in love with our wedding team (I hate to call them 'vendors') and have become friends with almost all of them.  Jasmine shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding and let me tell you she is nothing short of amazing and has become a dear friend to the both of us (you can click here to check out our engagement shoot and here to see our wedding on Style Me Pretty)

White Spring Trousers

With Memorial Day right around the corner I have been pulling out all of my white dresses, trousers, and swim suits.  It feels like life has been so busy lately so Kevin and I are really looking forward to an extra long weekend and some time outdoors (and a tan)!  I don't know about you guys- but ours will start off with some cocktails in the city with friends and end with some time by the lake with no plans.

Floral Embroidered Dress

There is nothing like a floral dress to get you in the mood for Spring.  When I saw this dress I immediately fell in love with it.  The details are what really caught my eye- I love the lower cut of the dress since it really shows off the floral embroidery.  I typically won’t reach for nude colored items as I get worried about looking too “naked” but I felt amazing in this dress.  I immediately went into Kenya Moore TWIRL mode as soon as I threw it on (you Bravo fans will know exactly what I mean)! read more

Black Lace

Happy Thursday!  How is it almost February?!  Time is FLYING this new year!  We spent this past NYE in Lake Tahoe where it was snowing and freezing.  I typically wear a dress for New Years but knew that was out of the question in the snow.  I stopped by a few shops in downtown Reno (on our way up to Lake Tahoe) and found this little lace top from Bebe that I had to have.  It was perfect for a wintery night out and I felt covered enough, yet still sexy.  Since then, I’ve been able to style it with a few different bottoms so it’s gotten some use (yay!) which typically never happens with NYE outfits. read more

My favorite thing about Sunday night is getting to regroup and relax from the weekend and mentally prep for Monday.  This was one of those weekends where we had friends visit both Saturday AND Sunday so I was looking forward to unwinding from hostess mode. read more
