White Spring Trousers

With Memorial Day right around the corner I have been pulling out all of my white dresses, trousers, and swim suits.  It feels like life has been so busy lately so Kevin and I are really looking forward to an extra long weekend and some time outdoors (and a tan)!  I don’t know about you guys- but ours will start off with some cocktails in the city with friends and end with some time by the lake with no plans. Perfection.

With that being said, Memorial Day comes with the thought that you can start incorporating more white into your wardrobe (particularly pants).  If you’ve been following this blog, then you know I’ve been wearing white pants year round.  I will say that I definitely “amp up” the amount of white that I wear during this time though.  A good pair of white, summery trousers will get you through this season and I found the perfect pair from Express- adorable tie-front bow included!

I paired them with a simple black tank, heels and a vintage YSL clutch (a major find from a vintage shop in NYC).  These pants are so comfortable and flattering at the same time.  They are made of a linen blend so they are perfect for the upcoming summer months and didn’t wrinkle like linen usually does.

I also am loving the fact that these are high-waisted with a tie front belt so the fit was adjustable depending on what top you are wearing.  They run pretty much true to size although slightly on the looser end.  If you do pick them up, I would love to know how you style them!
