Picnic in the Presidio

Now that we are getting close summer we are finally able to spend some time in the sunshine.  Yesterday was one of those rare, hot days in San Francisco where it seemed like everyone was outside.  My girlfriend Meg suggested that we check out the park in the Presidio and I was so glad she suggested it!  It really is a picture perfect setting without the crowds and lots of beautiful city views- Kevin and I definitely will be spending more time there.

I love catching up with girlfriends and what better way over champagne, chocolate and sunshine.  We laid out a blanket, set up our picnic baskets and voilà!  I already can’t wait to plan our next picnic date!

We snacked on chocolates and truffles from Godiva‘s new spring line, fresh strawberries, sourdough from Boudin bakery and cheese we picked up from the Ferry building Farmers Market.  We toasted it off with one of my favorite bottles of bubbly from Mumm Napa.  It was the perfect way to celebrate and enjoy this beautiful weather!

This adorable summer picnic basket was a recent find and is the perfect size for a picnic for two (linked below).  The dish towels are an old find from Anthropologie but I’ve added some similar ones for you to check out.

Hi! Thank you so much for checking out my blog, and so sorry there was a little issue with the comment section (I hate when those things happen). So appreciate your sweet words though- it means the world to hear!

Wonderful site you have here but I was wondering if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics talked about here? I’d really love to be a part of community where I can get comments from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Appreciate it!
