Sweater Dress Season

Happy Sunday!  I went to visit a friend this afternoon and snapped a few photos along the way.  The neighborhood was one I had never been to in San Francisco called Mount Davidson Manor- and let me tell you, it is such a cute neighborhood.  Mount Davidson Manor is beautiful and colorful and SO San Francisco. It’s filled with a mix of architectural styles including a few “East Coast Style” homes.   Growing up on the East Coast it was fun to see some of these style homes here in San Francisco!

Being less than a week out from Christmas I have found that Kevin and I have had a holiday event almost every night- holy moly.  I have been piecing together outfits that are stylish and functional (and of course warm).  There is nothing easier to throw on when it starts getting chilly outside than a sweater dress.  They’re so comfy and look killer with a pair of OTK (over-the-knee) boots.  This sweater dress from one of my favorite UK brands, Topshop is perfect as the temperature starts to dip.  I kept it simple today with a black fringe bag but I can’t wait to wear it with some other colored boots and tights to mix things up.

As you can tell, I’m a big fan this season of OTK boots.  You can check out my previous post (here)!

As it inches closer to winter I find myself gravitating towards my big, chunky-knit sweaters.  These will always be in style and are great investment pieces for the winter.  I love this DVF sweater (here) that is equally as warm and gotten so much use this season!
